Various Clients, Present — Visual Designer (Freelance)
The Bitcoin Layer, 2024 — Bitcoin Content Manager
As the Content Manager and Designer Intern at The Bitcoin Layer, I have the unique opportunity to immerse myself in the Bitcoin startup culture and work closely with the founder and creative director. My role involve creating engaging Bitcoin-related content, including tweets with custom graphics and short animations for social media. Through this internship, I will exercise my skills in social media management, and graphic design, while deepening my understanding of Bitcoin and its online ecosystem.
Snap Inc., 2021 — Snap Design Scholar
Chosen as one of 15 design scholars from a competitive pool of designers within the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, I honed my creative expertise in typography, photo manipulation, and illustration. Additionally, I developed stronger communication skills when collaborating across disciplines and by learning new tools and integrating them into my creative process, I was able to improve my efficiency and the effectiveness of my concepts.
Sole Folks at Leimert Park, 2020 — Graphic Designer II
As 2020 seemed to be the year of historical events, a new academic endeavore at ArtCenter College of Design allowed my cohorts and I to collaborate with local partners to support and empower Black and minority-owned companies and brands throughout Los Angeles. The course was structured like a design consultancy, with students fulfilling creative roles and providing design services and deliverables – including brand and product strategy, brand identity, product design and environmental design services.
